Danny O’Keefe’s 1971 solo debut album produced classic songs that would go on to be covered by such legendary artists as Judy Collins, Donny Hathaway, Jackson Browne, Leo Sayer, Jerry Lee Lewis, and more. “Good Time Charlie’s Got the Blues”, which was released in September 1972, and reached number 9 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, stayed on the charts for 14 weeks. Danny would go one to make many more records and more hits and is still going to this day!
